The SI Leeds Literary Prize 2024 is open for entries from 1 April - 13 May 2024.

Before you enter, please read the full Prize rules, available on the Prize website here: https://www.sileedsliteraryprize.com/how-to-enter/rules/

The Prize is open to Black and Asian women writers based in the UK aged 18 or over and is for unpublished fiction of at least 30,000 words.  We accept completed manuscripts only.

The cost per entry is £10 and entries can be submitted in a number of formats, including .doc, .docx, .pdf and .rtf files.  There are a number of free entry bursaries supported by previous winners Mahusda Snaith and Wenyan Lu, available to writers on low income - if you would welcome a free entry, please e-mail us before the deadline: info@sileedsliteraryprize.com and we will assign you a free entry, subject to availability.

When you submit your entry, we ask that you include a 500 word synopsis of your manuscript and your contact details.  Entries will be judged anonymously, so please ensure that your name does not appear on your manuscript file.

Once you have submitted your entry, you will receive an automated receipt e-mail.  If you do not receive this or have any other queries about your entry or the Prize, please do get in contact with us: info@sileedsliteraryprize.com and we will be happy to help.

Thank you and good luck!

We use Submittable to accept and review our submissions.
